Freedom Church Sheffield began as a home Bible study group made up of a small group of Christians who were not satisfied with simply attending church, but wanted to grow in their faith and witness. We began to see lives transformed, and the group quickly outgrew the home and moved into a community centre in Lowedges, South Sheffield.

We are a Bible-believing church committed to the truth and authority of God’s Word, following the New Testament pattern for leadership, fellowship, and Christian living. Our mission is rooted in Jesus Christ’s Great Commission to make disciples of all nations by sharing the gospel, teaching biblical truth, and equipping believers to live faithfully for Him.

We are passionate about seeing every person grow in their relationship with God, mature spiritually, and become effective in their Christian life through prayer, worship, discipleship, and service. As a Christ-centred community, we seek to reflect God’s love and build strong biblical relationships.
