We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and is the final authority for faith and Christian living.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, people are forgiven of sin, born again by the Holy Spirit, and brought into a living relationship with God.
We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers for holy living, service, witness, and ministry. We believe the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament are still active and available to the Church today.
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct empowering experience for believers, enabling bold witness and effective Christian service.
We believe in the importance of prayer, worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and the preaching of God’s Word as central to the life and mission of the Church.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers, called to worship God, make disciples, care for one another, and proclaim the gospel to the world.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and eternal life for those who belong to Christ.
We believe that Jesus Christ is building His Church and that every believer is called to grow in spiritual maturity, serve faithfully, and live as a witness for Him in everyday life.
Identity, Dignity and Relationships
We believe every person is created by God, made in His image, and has equal worth and dignity before Him. Our deepest identity is not found in race, background, sexuality, gender, status or culture, but in Jesus Christ.
Because every person bears God’s image, we reject racism, sexism, abuse, exploitation and all forms of unjust treatment. We seek to show Christ’s love to all people, especially those who are marginalised, overlooked or vulnerable.
We hold to the historic Christian understanding that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy is designed by God for that covenant relationship. We also believe Christians must speak about these matters with humility, compassion, truth and grace.
We believe God created humanity male and female, and that our bodies are part of His good creation. While questions of identity, sexuality and gender are often deeply personal and sensitive, we aim to remain faithful to Scripture while extending love, pastoral care and hope to every person.
We believe the Church should be a place where truth is taught clearly, grace is shown generously, and every person is invited to find forgiveness, freedom and new life in Jesus Christ.
